Brampton Mayor Patrick Brown blames Toronto for the shootings in Brampton. He said that gun violence is “spilling over” into Peel Region from Toronto. He is right.
Toronto is an expensive city. Gang members are finding it cheaper to shoot each other outside of Toronto.
If Mayor Brown wants to stop gun violence in Brampton, then he should make Brampton an expensive city to live in—more expensive to live in than Toronto. This will cause gang members to move to a cheaper city, and shoot each other there.
