The Cycle Never Ends

For the longest time after the first day of Spring, the trees appear dead as they did in Winter.  And then, overnight, leaves start growing, which proves that the trees were never dead.

Ah, Spring!  It is my favorite time of the year.  The longer days make it seem as if we have more time to get things done.  It is a welcome change the cold, short days of Winter.

And then there is Summer, beautiful Summer!  Summer is my favorite time of the year.  The warm weather encourages more outside activities.  We can have picnics and go camping — even if we do so in our backyards.  Summer is fun.  Fun is Summer.

Fall comes making sure that we do not get tired of having fun in the Summer.  Fall brings cooler weather, pretty colors, and falling leaves.  What fun to rake the leaves into a giant pile, and then dive into it and roll around.  Fall is my favorite time of the year.

Winter is a time for rest.  Although we can still have fun playing in the snow, Winter’s short days and long nights give us time to pause and reflect.  We recharge our batteries to make sure we have enough energy for the coming Spring, Summer, and Fall.  Winter is my favorite time of the year.

And so the cycle of seasons continues.  Winter flows into Spring.  Spring flows into Summer.  Summer flows into Fall, and Fall flows into Winter.  This cycle never ends.

Life flows and never ends.  It is always my favorite time of the year.
