A New Personality

“It’s been a while since you posted something.  Where have you been?”

“I was in the hospital.”

“Really?  What for?”

“I needed a personality transplant.  Living wore out my personality and made it boring.  My psychiatrist was not sure how long it would last.  I was on a waiting list for a new personality.  Finally, a personality became available.”

“What did the donor die from?”

“He didn’t.  He is very much alive.  I only know that he has a multiple-personality disorder and donated one of his personalities to me.”

“Any issues?  Has your body accepted your new personality?”

“No issues yet.”

“Aren’t you worried about getting a form of insanity from his donated personality?”

“I am not worried.  I am hoping for it.”

“You’re hoping to get a form of insanity?”

“Yep.  The more insanity, the better.  It is insanity that is allowing us to have this conversation.  You would not exist if it weren’t for insanity.  Insanity enhances my creativity.”

“Really?  I was created by insanity?  That explains my desire to eat meals while wearing a straitjacket.”

“Wait a minute.  How do you eat meals while wearing a straitjacket?”

“With great care.”
