. . . And Jam

If yesterday’s blog was titled Peanut Butter, then today’s blog has to be And Jam.

My brother loved peanut butter and jam sandwiches.  For the whole time he was in Grade 5, he had peanut butter and jam sandwiches for lunch from September to June.  Mom would ask us, “What do you want for lunch?”  My sisters and I would vary our responses.  My brother never changed from “Peanut butter and jam.”

“What do you get when you cross a peanut butter and jam with a vaccine?”
“I dunno.”
“A vaccine that sticks to the roof of your mouth.”

“What do you get when you cross peanut butter and jam with face masks?”
“What?”
“You get face masks that stick to the roof of your mouth.”

“What do you get when your cross peanut butter and jam with garbage?”
“Garbage that sticks to the roof of your mouth.”
“No.”
“Then what do you get?”
“When you cross peanut butter and jam with garbage, you get a big mess.”

“Why did the peanut butter and jam sandwich cross the road?”
“I dunno.”
“It was stalking a chicken.”
“Why would a peanut butter and jam sandwich stalk a chicken?”
“Obsessive love.”
