Telus Customer Service? Ha!

Good luck at trying to talk to a Customer Service Rep. at Telus.  I have not been able to speak to anyone at Telus for several months.

You used to be able to call Telus’ customer service number, and then press 1 and then 4 and then 2 and then 347 and then 642 and then 935, and then you were on hold to a live human being.  Eventually, you spoke to a Customer Service Rep.  (CSR)

Now you call Telus’ customer service number and press 1 and then 4 and then 2 and then 347 and then 642 and then 935, and you get a recorded message saying that a link will be sent to your phone, which takes you to Telus’ Virtual Assistant.  From the Virtual Assistant, you can get to a live person.

I have tried several times, but the link sent to my phone would not open.  No link, no Virtual Assistant.  No Virtual Assistant, no live person.

I have several friends who are with Telus.  They, too, have never been able to talk to anyone at Telus.

Who was the genius at Telus who said, “Let us make it impossible for our customers to talk to a CSR.”?

People with other cell phone companies have said that they can easily talk to a  CSR without trouble.  Obviously, Telus wants to be the leader in showing terrible customer service.
