A friend emailed that he went to an annual family picnic yesterday at a beachfront park in Orillia, Ontario. It was the first family picnic in two years because of COVID.
He saw a kiosk set up so the public could rent kayaks and paddle boards. The attendant was a young woman wearing a blue face mask. He did not see anyone else wearing a mask on what was a beautiful sunny day with a gentle breeze. Instead of breathing fresh air, the attendant breathed her own exhaled air containing carbon dioxide and toxins her body wanted to eliminate.
My friend laughed when he saw the name of the company renting kayaks:
A Breath of Fresh Air Kayak Rentals
Oh, the irony!
