“Tired of staring at the ceiling?”
Not really. I never tire of staring at the ceiling.
“What goes through your mind while you are staring?”
How I should be staring at the ceiling.
“Your blogs used to be daily, and now they are sporadic.”
True. I never know when the ceiling will remind me of the emotional pain of not seeing my kids because of petty access games. I never know when the ceiling will remind me how much I needed someone to listen to me, and no one cared. “Gosh, Gary, I don’t feel like listening to this right now.”
“Are you trying to play a victim?”
“You’re not convincing.”
Okay, I’ll stop.
